premier league: The ticket prices of Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium's at
Dhaka East Stand gallery for 2013 BPL T20 matches have been reduced by Tk 55 to
spur the game's popularity. The tickets will be available from 13th January 2013. The lowest-priced
ticket for a day's play two (2) matches has been set at Tk 350 and each person
will be permitted to buy a maximum of two (2) tickets per day.
There are low tickets priced for all students. Students and
Airtel users will receive a 30 per cent discount upon presentation of a student
ID or an Airtel SIM card, said BCS Sources.
To bring down the ticket price, the organizers, Bangladesh
Cricket Board (BCB), had earlier negotiated with the sponsors, Game On Sport
Limited, who holds the ticketing rights for BPL 2013 Season 2.
In the meantime, Game On Limited sold the ticket rights of 45
matches for Tk 200 million (20 crore) to Active Services, an event management
company of Bangladesh,
while the negotiation was going on.
Game on Sport Ltd Managing Director Anjan Ganguly and Active
Services CEO Asadur Rahman Rana said, at a press conference in the city on
Tuesday at the BCB Media Centre "Tickets will be found in the exclusive
outlets of Airtel Bangladesh
and can be bought from there title sponsor Prime Bank is expected to be associated
with the selling of tickets manually,".
All Student and Airtel subscribers will get 30 per cent
discount on the gallery tickets while there will be 16 categories of tickets
with every ticket for access to two matches per day. Online tickets will be
available also from 13 January 2013.
Another sponsor-Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd will arrange
lotteries for the spectators in the break between two matches. Television and
refrigerator will be awarded every game day while six Walton motorcycles will
be given to the spectators at the end of the colorful T20 travesty of the
country.
