Educational Requirements: Post Graduate degree in social science or related fields from a reputable college or university
Experience Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in working with the Government, I/NGOs preferably on advocacy & networking, fund raising on development and DRR issues.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Strong experience in disaster management, preparedness and understanding of humanitarian response desired
- Prior experience of working under consortium environment would be added advantage.
- Good knowledge of national and international humanitarian standards and protocols is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to organize and/or facilitate national /international/regional conferences, workshops, training courses, multi-sectoral dialogues, or similar activities;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to discuss sensitive issues
- Excellent analytical and writing skills, familiarity with social research, participatory techniques and/or facilitation methods
- Experience of programme appraisal, monitoring and evaluation and knowledge management skills.
- Able to communicate confidently in English both writing and verbally.
- Well versed with computer, good time management and interpersonal skills are desired.
Salary & Other Benefits: BDT 13,05,524 gross per annum plus medical reimbursement, provident fund, gratuity and medical insurance.
